The Summer School
June 23-27, 2003

The Trondheim Summer School in Linguistics (TROSS) at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) will offer three days of intensive courses with the overall theme Multi-verb constructions in constraint based grammars. The courses are sponsored by NFR(Norwegain Research Council) through its program 'Nasjonale forskerkurs',
The courses give an introduction to Lexical Functional Grammar (LFG) and HEAD-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG) through their application to multi-verb constructions as manifested in the West-African and South and South-East Asian languages.

The courses are followed by a two days workshop devoted to the same topics.
Both the courses and the workshop take place at the University Center at Dragvoll. For more information click Location
